Fate united her with Mr. Darcy, a rich man who is as cold as a statue. Mr. Darcy admired Elizabeth’s intelligence and vitality. Together, they became involved in a love story, where they faced challenges caused by preconceived judgments and the distances between them created by the arrogance brought on by pride. Personal Opinion
Personally, I really enjoyed this book because, in addition to begin a captivating romance novel that draws you in with its plot and highlights aspects of that era, it also delivers meaningful messages, such as the expectations society placed on us and a critique of marriages in the past. Moreover, it invites us to reflect on the importance of looking beyond our first impressions of others in order to overcome the barriers we create ourselves. I highly recommend this book!
