Book Summary:
Nick Caraway moves to New York and rents a house next to a mysterious man named Jay Gatsby. Gatsby throws big parties, hoping that his old love, Daisy, will come. Daisy is married to Tom Buchanan, a rich and arrogant man. Gatsby and Daisy were in love before, and he still loves her. With Nick’s help, they meet again and restart their relationship.
Tom finds that Gatsby and Daisy are seeing each other, and reveals that Gatsby makes his money illegally. Daisy pulls away from Gatsby. Personal Opinion:
If you enjoy drama and tragic love stories… this book is for you. “The Great Gatsby” shows how chasing dreams, money, and the past can lead to sadness.
The writing is beautiful and the characters are very interesting.
I liked how Gatsby believed in love and worked so hard for his dreams, but in the end, he was left alone. This story makes you think about what truly matters in life. It also shows how wealthy people can be careless and only think about themselves, while someone like Gatsby, who was full of hope, ends up forgotten.
It’s a powerful and emotional story that stays with you. It’s a great book and a classic that everyone should read at least once.
